Learning how to create resumes and write cover letters for job applications has been immensely educational for me, as someone who’s grown up around primarily self-employed people or mysteriously non-entry level workers. Us students critiqued and strengthened each other's work while also being assisted by seniors and teachers with many years of professional experience. In a time where job applications are looked at for an average of 7 seconds, I am grateful to start at a strongly educated stance before stepping into the world before me.
